1. Service & accounts
By using Shadowfy and our mobile applications (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. You can use the Service as a guest; creating an account (via email) lets you sync your data across devices. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abuse.
2. Content you import & AI-generated content
You are responsible for any text you import and confirm that you have the right to use it. Do not import unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
Explanations, translations, generated articles, audio, and images are produced by automated AI systems and are provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy. Do not rely on the Service for critical professional, medical, or legal translations.
3. Subscriptions & payments
Pro features require a paid subscription. Billing is handled by your Apple App Store or Google Play account (for in-app purchases). Your subscription status is synced across your devices via RevenueCat.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Cancellation: you can cancel anytime by managing your subscription directly in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
- Refunds: in-app purchase refunds are handled entirely by Apple or Google and are subject to their respective policies. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through the mobile app stores.
4. License & usage
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service. Content you import remains yours.
5. Liability & law
The Service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for any damages (including data loss or business interruption) arising from the use of the Service. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
